All data analysis in this report was conducted using Microsoft Excel. Simple means, analysis of variance and the student t-test were used to determine statistical significance using the least significant difference method with a 95% confidence interval.

Figure 1: Average yield Vs. ROI. LSD = 763 Kg/Ha

Conclusion

  • Later sown V0915-01 yielded very well.
  • Scepter maintained its high yielding capacity.
  • Favourable growing conditions, with a good finish allowed for high yield potential.
  • As Longsword is fast to mature, it gives producers the opportunity and flexibility for a wider seeding window.
