- Seasons late start favored adaptable, faster maturing varieties.
- Highest yielding was RR Hybrid 44Y27, early maturing.
- Susceptibility to frost was influenced by variety and flowering times, closer to the event.
- R5520P & 506RR performed well in comparison to shorter season counterparts R3520 & 404RR.
- A statistically significant difference was seen between 44Y27 & GT53 (LSD of 290Kg/Ha.
